Trade terms
The main terms for trade and corporate orders. The full terms are confirmed in writing with every quote.
Trade pricing is offered to businesses: hospitality groups, retailers, designers, event companies and corporates. Please share your business name, address and GSTIN (where registered) with your enquiry.
Trade prices are quoted per order and are exclusive of GST, which is charged at the applicable rate. A GST tax invoice is issued for every order. Quoted prices are valid for [30] days from the date of the quote.
Minimum order values and quantities apply and are confirmed in the quote.
A [50]% advance confirms the order; the balance is payable before dispatch. Payment is by bank transfer (NEFT, RTGS or IMPS) or UPI to the account named on the invoice. Where credit terms are agreed in writing, payment is due within the agreed period, and in any case within 45 days of delivery, as provided under the MSMED Act, 2006.
Pieces in stock are dispatched within [7 to 10] working days of the advance. Made-to-order and customised pieces take [4 to 8] weeks, confirmed in the quote. Every piece is handmade, so lead times are estimates, and we keep you informed of progress.
Logos, monograms, colourways and branded packaging are available on request. A sample or artwork proof is approved by you before production begins. Customised orders cannot be changed or cancelled once production has started.
We ship anywhere in India and export on request. Freight and transit insurance are quoted separately or included, as stated in the quote. E-way bills and other transport documents are issued as required under GST rules. Every consignment is packed in our two-layer protective packaging.
Please inspect the consignment on receipt and report any transit damage or shortage within [48 hours] of delivery, with photographs. Damaged pieces are replaced. Trade and corporate orders are otherwise not returnable. Slight variation in colour, glaze and size is a feature of handmade work and is not a defect.
Orders may be cancelled at no charge before production begins. Once production has started, the advance is not refundable. Customised orders cannot be cancelled after sample or artwork approval.
Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer on receipt of full payment. Risk in the goods passes on delivery.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Studio Pottery is a brand of Reshma Badhwar, sole proprietor, [registered address], GSTIN [•].
